Ingredients:
- 3 cups Rice Flour
- 1cup Besan (Senaga Pindi)
- Salt to taste
- Red Chille powder according to taste
- 2 tsps Vaamu
- Oil for frying
Procedure:
- Mix Rice Flour, besan, salt, red chilie powder and vaamu using little water at a time
- While mixing the dough add little hot oil and mix it well to form soft dough
- Heat the oil in a deep pan for frying these mini chapattis, once the oil is hot enough fry the chakalu till golden brown
- Using the press we can make various shapes of chakralu with the this dough
- Chakralu are ready to eat any time of the day
Tip:
- Replace the Besan with Urad dal flour (Minapa pindi) to get a different version
