Ingredients:
- Coriander - 1 bunch
- Tamarind- small lemon ball size
- Jaggery- to taste
- Green Chillies- according to taste
- Mustard seeds - 2tsp
- Chana Dal- 2tsp
- Urad Dal- 2tsp
- Hing- to taste
- oil
- salt
Procedure:
- Wash the Coriander leaves and air dry them
- Saute these leaves in a hot wok, just to remove the raw smell
- In a blender add the coriander leaves,green chillies, salt, tamarind pulp, turmeric, jaggery and blend it to a smooth paste adding little water if necessary
- Add little oil in a pan and add them mustard seeds, chana dal, urad dal, hing and fry them till the dal turns golden brown and mustard seeds start to splutter
- Add this tampering to the coriander paste
- Coriander Chutney is ready to be served with Dosa, Idly or Upma
