Ingredients:
- Ginger root / Allam
- 1 Tbspn Mustard seeds / Aavalu
- 5-10 RedChillies/ Endu Mirapakayalu (Depending on the spice you want)
- 1 Tspn FenuGreek Seeds/Mentulu
- Hing / Inguva
- 2 Tbspn Sugar
- Tamarind / Chintapandu
- Oil for frying
- Salt to taste
Procedure:
- Take oil in a pan and add mustard seeds
- Once the seeds start to splutter add the Fenugreek seeds , Hing and red chilies
- Soak the tamarind in very little water for 10-15 mins
- Cut the ginger into small pieces and grind along with the tamarind and mustard seeds mixture
- Add the salt and sugar according to taste
